Bogotá- Fly away to serenity

In today's jet setting world, holidays are a luxury every one looks forward too. Most people love getting out of their house and traveling to destinations that are new and unexplored. New countries, new cities and places widen our perspective and enhance our life experiences. However, often it has been noticed that half of the time is spent in traveling from one place to other. These days' flights are the cheapest and the most efficient means of transport in getting to places like Bogota or even getting around in Colombia.

The city of Bogota is situated snugly in the Andes and stands at a height of 8646 ft. Bogota is a blend of the modern and the by gone eras where the old and new are contently existing side by side. So, you get to see a city where churches talk to high rise apartments and universities and theatres chat together happily. It's a quaint amalgamation of different cultures ranging from Indian, British and even Spanish. As a result this city has developed its own fusion culture which is different from every thing else you have ever seen.

Avianca and Aerorepublica are the two well known carriers that operate across Colombia. These airlines generally cover most well known tourist cities in the country. However, these days' tourists can take advantage of Easyfly which is a low budget Colombian airline to get to regions not covered by these carriers.

Flying aboard Aerorepublica is a great experience particularly for people who have One Pass. The airline has a great reputation and has been recently taken over by Copa Airlines. As a result Panama is the new international hub for this airline. Aerorepublica provides an easy access to other places like Santa Marta, San Andres, Pereira, Monteria, Medellin, Leticia, Cucuta, Cartagena, Cali, Bucaramanga from Bogota.

Avianca is an older and bigger airline than the Aerorepublica. It covers many more cities since it has code sharing with airlines like Mexicana, Delta, Taca, Air Canada and Iberia. It flies daily to places like Valledupar, Tomaco, Santa Marta, Santa Andres, Riohacha, Pererira, Pasto, Neiva, Monteria, Medellin, Manizales, Ibague, Cucuta, Cartegena, Cali, Bucaramanga, Barranquilla, Barrancabermeja and Armenia.

Aires is a twenty six year old airline which flies to more than 22 Colombian cities. This airline has recently expanded its routes to newer places like Curacao, Aruba, Panama, and Maracaibo which is situated in Venezuela. This airline connects Bogotá with different cities like Ipiales, Puerto asis, Florencia, Neiva, Popayamn, Villavicencia, Cali, Periera and many more such destinations.

The Satena airlines cater to those places which are not covered by the other two airlines.  The Colombian Government created this airline in 1962. Satena flies to destinations like Villavicencio, Villagarzon, Tomaco, Taracapa, Tame and other lesser connected destinations. These are some of the well known Colombian airlines which connect Bogotá to Colombia and the world. There are other cheaper airline options like the Lineas Aereas Suramericanas which connect Leticia to Bogotá. Though these airlines are not luxury carriers, yet they serve the purpose of saving time and money in Bogotá. As you can see, there are lots of options of Bogota flights!

You can book your Bogota Colombia hotel  and your flight online from the comfort of your home for a great experience and to stay away from last minute problems! It doesn’t matter if you want to stay in a luxury or Bogota cheap hotel, there are hundreds of options available for you!
