Bogota, capital city of Colombia, is one of the most surprising cities of Latin America. Full of lovely architecture, and home to 7.5 million Colombians, Bogota had come a long way in recent decades to shrug off its drug associated reputation, and has now taken its place as one of the great cities of South America. The third highest city of Latin America, it has the largest population of any city in Colombia, and is the cultural and economic heart of this beautiful country. Many visitors who come to explore Columbia, do so by making Bogota their base of operations, and we have a superb one bedroom apartment available for holiday, or short term lets, in a superb residential area of this fascinating city.

The apartment has been recently refurbished and offers top class accommodation in one of the most sought after areas of the city. It is close to many world class shopping malls, lively bars and clubs, and some excellent restaurants, serving great Latin American cuisine. This first floor, (accessed by lift), one bedroom apartment, is elegance itself, and with on street parking, it is the perfect place to stay to explore both the city and the surrounding countryside.

The décor throughout is first class with beautiful wooden flooring, and plain white painted walls lending the apartment a clean, crisp and elegant feel. The furnishings are of the highest quality, and in the modest lounge you will find a comfortable three seater settee, a beautiful dark wooden, circular dining table with four matching dining chairs, and a carver style single chair to one side of a lovely dark wood, low level coffee table, sat just in front of the sofa. There is plenty of light from a large full width window adorned with white blinds, and the room is finished off with a couple of tasteful pictures hanging on the walls. The dark wooden writing desk, with free Wi-Fi connection, keeps you in touch with the outside world, whether for business or pleasure. There is also a cable TV provided for your relaxation and entertainment.

The lounge is an open plan design and houses the kitchen area which has been exquisitely designed and built in, featuring a stunning brickwork wall with a lovely dark wooden paneling creating a breakfast bar, and a natural division from the rest of the lounge. The kitchen, albeit compact, is well equipped with built in electric hob with over under, a fridge freezer, a microwave, a coffee maker for that legendary Colombian coffee, a kettle, and a toaster. There is also a small range of kitchen cabinets, (floor and wall mounted) where you will find all of the china, cutlery and cooking utensils you may need during your stay.

The single bedroom, accessed via a stylish open arch, is once again elegantly decorated, and has a large double bed with dark wood headboard in keeping with the rest of the apartment. There are two bedside cabinets each with reading lamp, ample cupboard space, a wall mounted flat screen TV, and access to the toilet/bathroom.

The bathroom doesn't let the side down either. There is ceiling to floor plain white tiling, and a superb dark wooden (what else?) unit onto which the modern free standing plumbed hand basin is placed (with mirror over), a single mixer tap, and cupboard space below. The rest of the suite includes a low level flush toilet, and a bath with fitted shower attachment.

This stylish apartment is very popular with tourists to Bogota, so in order to avoid disappointment, it is recommended that you should book early.
